Volcanic clusters from Jeju

Jeju was formed by repeated volcanic eruptions. Ejected materials such as volcanic rocks and ash from the eruption of Hallasan Mountain are gifts of nature, created over approximately 10 million years.

Innisfree's Volcanic Line products use volcanic ash – one of these natural resources. Jeju volcanic ash is rich in minerals and has an excellent ability to absorb excess sebum and dead skin cells thanks to its porous structure.

Jeju's volcanic rocks are protected by special legislation, and ash can only be collected in approved areas. The collected ash is purified of impurities at over 150°C and ground into a fine powder before being used in cosmetics.
